Winter Bean Share for Local Pickup (Ithaca-Trumansburg)

The Details

We work with several community partners and friends to offer a convenient pickup location near you.

What you get:

• Four bags each month, each one a different variety.
• Varieties range from pantry staples to uncommon heirlooms, each with unique cooking qualities to discover.
• In total, we will share 16 pounds of freshly harvested and dried bounty with you. That totals 128 servings of pure plant protein. 
• Three pickups -- monthly from January to March

Worried you might get too much leguminous goodness to handle? Properly harvested and dried beans (like ours!) stay fresh and tasty in your pantry for at least a year. Our retail-style bean bags make great gifts as well.

You will also receive fun varietal lore, cooking tips and more via a monthly bean dispatch - we are serious bean nerds and love to swap bean stories and favorite recipes!

Payment

You will pay once and receive three monthly shares, to be picked up at your chosen pickup location. Membership is not confirmed until payment is received (by credit card or check).

We appreciate you paying by check and keeping currency local! To do so, select the 'pay by check' option at check out and follow instructions.

Note: if you are a Shop Pay user you may need to click "Check out as Guest" in order to access the Pay by Check option.

How does it work?

You will select a pickup location when checking out. You must pick up your monthly bean share at your chosen pickup location.

• Stick and Stone Farm (Northwest Ithaca): 9am - 9pm Thurs to the following Weds @ noon
• Remembrance Farm (T-burg): 9am - 9pm Thurs to the following Weds @ noon
• Youth Farm Project (South Hill) : Noon - 9pm Thurs to the following Weds @ noon

Full Plate Pickup Dates (1st day of pickup window): January 8th, February 12th, March 5th 2026.

Note that only on-farm pickup sites are available -- no group sites.

Wide Awake Bakery (Downtown Ithaca)

• Retail bakery location at Franklin Market 
• Tuesday-Friday 11am-6pm (retail hours)
• First days: January 14th, February 11th, March 11th 2026.

Danby Food and Drink (Danby): 

• Wednesday 4-7pm
•  January 15th, February 12th, March 12th 2026.

Ecovillage @ Ithaca (West Hill):

• Wednesdays 8 am - Fridays 6 pm.
• First days: January 7th, February 11th, March 4th 2026.
